On November 6, 2021 the Pacific Lutheran University football team faced off against their rivals, the University of Puget Sound Loggers, at Sparks Stadium in Puyallup. This was the 97th annual bout between the two teams, and the Loggers entered with a 49-42-5 all-time record in the series. The Lutes, however, came away with a resounding victory, shutting out the Loggers 33-0.
