The greatest asset of the Confessions page, I believe, is its potential to serve as a public forum to engage in dialogue.
I find the confessions page to be a good forum to introduce ideas, as well as to entertain and interact. Although the page has shown a dark side by allowing cyber bullying, and maybe a little laissez-faire with the maturity of the content, it is a good page to anonymously pour your heart out or to share ideas you wouldn’t necessarily bring out in public. It’s also a unifying point for gossip, “Hey, did you check the confessions page?” Or, “I saw you were mentioned in the confessions page.” Is something one hears daily. For better or for worse is debatable, but I’d say it’s for the better.
