After her third studio album, “ARTPOP,” released November 2013 and her jazz duet album with legend Tony Bennett, released September 2014, Lady Gaga is on the cusp of debuting her fifth pop album.

It’s been nearly two years since Lady Gaga released pop music – making a switch to her “Lady” side with Cheek To Cheek – it appears that Lady Gaga’s fifth studio album isn’t far away.

And for the time being, her army of fans (known as “little monsters”) have named the upcoming album #LG5.

Lady Gaga is the glamourously gaudy, over-the-top performer of the decade who’s famously weird and weirdly famous. Gaga debuted her eclectic mix of David Bowie, Madonna, Queen, and Blondie in 2008, hitting the charts early 2009 with .

In other words, she’s the chick who wore the meat dress.

Gaga has been teasing fans with studio pictures since January (above) and tweeting some uninformative fun back and forth with her longtime producer RedOne. Remember the opening line of her first song, Just Dance? Maybe you thought she was singing “Red Wine” but it was “RedOne!” Together RedOne helped write and produce the magic that is:

Just Dance (The Fame) · LoveGame (The Fame) · Poker Face (The Fame) · Money Honey (The Fame) · Boy Boys Boys (The Fame) · Paper Gangsta (The Fame) · Bad Romance (The Fame Monster) · Alejandro (The Fame Monster) · Monster (The Fame Monster) · So Happy I Could Die (The Fame Monster) · Judas (Born This Way) · Hair (Born This Way) · Scheiße (Born This Way) · Gypsy – cowriter (ARTPOP)

And here’s what we know about #LG5 so far… IT IS GOING TO BE PERFECT!

According to RedOne in an interview with The Nation, “I’m fully committed until we’re done – we’re just going to work on writing songs – 20, 30, 40 songs – until we get hopefully the best album of the decade,” he said.

After taking a break from their work together on ARTPOP, RedOne added that “the new material feels great. And that’s what it is like with me and her – when we both feel great, it’s incredible. A lot of it is to do with trust, no ego, just love for the music. And when it’s fun and respectful, putting the egos aside, it’s magic.”

RedOne also confirmed reports Giorgio Moroder is working on the project – known for pioneering synth disco and electronic disco music… you know no big deal. Lady Gaga herself has also picked the lead single (and is in the studio this week – posting some more photos there on Instagram, below) entitled “I Am Who I Am” according to reports.

But these aren’t just rumors.

Time to make some records. Love my jacket today. CAPARA. ❤️

Gaga tweeted lyrics to the song on her second twitter account, @JoCalderone for her alterego that premiered on the 2011 MTV Music Video Awards, Tuesday morning.

InsideTheStudio also reported Wednesday morning that “I Am Who I Am” is very similar to The Fame and The Fame Monster albums, often considered to be her best work. They also added that “RedOne and Gaga are going full force. You guys will be BLOWN AWAY.”

Safe to say this is the next album to look out for.

Maybe you don’t believe it after her last pop album, ARTPOP, was teased as ARTFLOP by Madonna and Katy Perry’s pathetic fanbases, but give her another chance.

Remember her amazing Sound of Music tribute at the Oscars in February?

Everyone has their ebs and flows, but don’t forget she is the woman behind the iconic songs and videos for Bad Romance, Telephone, Poker Face, and Born This Way. She was nominated a record 13 times at her first VMA’s and won 3 Grammys at her very first show.
