The Associated Students of Pacific Lutheran University and Lute Air Student Radio will welcome the godfathers of wizard rock, Harry and the Potters, to perform at PLU on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. in the Anderson University Center room 214.
Since its inception, Harry and the Potters have performed over 500 shows all over the world ranging from local libraries to clubs, according to their website. Singing songs about the “Harry Potter” books, the band members are regarded as the founders of the wizard rock genre.
Many students expressed excitement about the upcoming concert. “I’m super stoked,” junior Jimmy Wu said. “I love ‘Harry Potter,’ and I think it’s awesome that the band is going to be on campus.”
The concert is free with a PLU ID and is open to the public for $5.
If you’re interested in more student organized events on campus, Late Night Programming and ASPLU are hosting a Laser Tag event on Friday, in the Fieldhouse in Olson Auditorium.
