Zumba and Zombies are a new craze sweeping the nation, so if you see the undead on campus Oct. 28, don’t panic. They’re headed to Olson Auditorium for “Zombie Zumba.”
Presented by LuteFit, the event invites all students, staff and faculty to dress up in some ghoulish garb and participate in Zumba. The Zumba fitness craze, which has grown extremely popular in recent years, features Latin-style dance moves set to fast-paced music.
The event will bring Zumba instructors Kristyn Dahl and Mandy Huetten to campus. The duo won KING 5’s Best of Western Washington competition in 2009 and 2010 in the Best Fitness Instructor category.
To participate, zombies must fill out a waiver prior to the event. Find it online at http://www.plu.edu/lutefit, or get one from Anderson University Center Oct. 23 during lunch or dinner.
