âRebel Heartâ – Madonna
The â80s are long over, but Madonna wonât dare let us forget. The 80âs pop idol released her thirteenth studio album titled âRebel Heartâ March 10, eliciting a long sigh from me and everyone else who would appreciate it if sheâd just stop. It was fun being a Madonna fan while Madonna was relevant, but leg warmers and tutu skirts died 20 years ago. Itâs time for stars like Rihanna and Lady Gaga to rule the pop scene, but Madonna just keeps edging her way in one forgetful album at a time. Itâs one thing to come out of retirement, but it doesnât work if you never retired in the first place. No one can miss you if you donât go away. The original and deluxe versions of Madonnaâs wildy unnecessary âRebel Heartâ can be streamed via Spotify and are available for purchase on ITunes. I doubt youâre interested.
â[Untitled]â – Kendrick Lamar
Itâs been established that rap is not my thing. Iâm not even sure who Kendrick Lamar is, but his unreleased album is currently ranked #4 on ITunesâ Top Albums list. ITunes doesnât even have the names of the tracks listed, but somehow â[Untitled]â is the fourth most purchased record. Iâm not even sure if â[Untitled]â is the name of the album or just a placeholder for the unknown title. What is obvious is that Kendrick Lamarâs sophomore album is in high demand. â[Untitled]â is set to drop March 23 and is now available for pre-order on ITunes.
âBelieveâ – Mumford & Sons
After the announcement of their new album âWilder Mindâ, Mumford & Sons has given fans a taste of what to expect. âBelieveâ, released March 9, is nothing less than Mumfordâs usual music excellence. The boys have definitely moved on from their traditional folk sound, but the depth and beauty of their music is just the same. âBelieveâ offers poetic lyrics paired with a sharper, heavier guitar and the same old steady beat youâll wanna clap your hands to. Fans skeptic of the bandâs new sound will be pleased to hear remnants of the old Mumford & Sons mixed with the interesting elements of the new. âBelieveâ is available for purchase on ITunes and streaming via Spotify.
