For the Buzzfeed Quiz, we took “Can We Guess Your Taste in Music?” which followed a series of questions involving where we like to listen to music and what we like to hear in music. For the results of our quiz, check out After Hours on Mast Media.
Our ‘Would You Rather?’ segment was “Friends TV Show” themed with questions all involving situations that have occurred throughout the Friends series. For 60 Seconds of Sports, Kyle quized Ramy on how well he knew his material and if he would be able to discuss all his topics under 60 seconds. Unfortunately, Ramy wasn’t able to get through everything this week and will try again next week.
Our text message segment discussed Kyle and his conversation with his dad about his upcoming 22nd birthday party, as well as Ramy and his conversations with his friends. Again, no scandalous text messages this week, sorry not sorry.
On the topic of Art & Culture, Coachella weekend one finished up last weekend with weekend two just around the corner. Tickets for next year go on pre-sale June 1st, 2016 while normal sale will be held in January of 2017. PLU is hosting a TEDxTacoma Friday, April 22nd with PLU student Miya Higashiyama talking about her personal experience with rape on campus. This is part of a larger campaign going on around the country focusing on how colleges are dealing with rape victims.
