4/24 O.M.M. Threats

Location: Old Main Market at the Anderson University Center
Description:Â Old Main Market (OMM) staff reported a disturbance to Campus Safety created by a group of juveniles in the Anderson University Center. Campus Safety officers contacted a group of 8 high school aged males. Several were uncooperative, with one individual threatening the Campus Safety officer. The group was told to leave and was escorted off campus property.
4/25 Tingelstad Medical Aid

Location: Tingelstad Residence Hall
Description:Â Campus Safety officers assisted a student after they fell and hit their head in a bathroom in Tingelstad Residence Hall. Campus Safety officers responded, along with Central Pierce Fire & Rescue. Medics did not transport the student to the hospital but encouraged them to seek further medical evaluation.
4/25 MBR Music Center Medical Aid

Location: Mary Baker Russell Music Center, Choir Room 306
Description: Campus Safety officers assisted a student who had rolled her ankle. Campus Safety officers responded and provided her with a cold pack. She declined Central Pierce Fire & Rescue.
4/26 Tahoma Bakery Medical Aid

Description:Â A student contacted Campus Safety complaining of dizziness and nausea. Central Pierce Fire & Rescue was declined but Campus Safety officers transported the student to the PLU Health Center at their request.
4/26 Residence Hall Stalking

Description:Â A student contacted Campus Safety to report a harassment situation. She explained that her ex-boyfriend, who is not PLU-affiliated and lives in another state, had been told to stop communication with her. He had recently sent flowers to campus with a note that made her feel like he may attempt to contact her in-person. She was advised of Campus Safety resources and will reach out if the situation escalates. She was also encouraged to speak with the PLU Victim’s Advocate.
4/28 Hauge Vandalism

Location: Hauge Administration Building, Floor 1 West Men’s Restroom (119)
Description:Â Campus Safety responded to a call from an Office of Admissions staff member who had noticed graffiti on a sign in the first floor restroom of the west wing of Hauge. The staff member removed the graffiti. Video surveillance footage of Hauge Administration Building was reviewed but no suspect information was found.
4/28 Off-Campus Vehicle Collision

Description: Campus Safety received a call from a PLU Outdoor Recreations trip leader who stated that while on the way to an outing, the van she was driving was struck in a rear-end collision. She reported that she and the other vehicle’s driver exchanged insurance information and that no party involved was injured. The van was rented from Enterprise Rent-A-Car®. Rob Thompson, the staff adviser for Outdoor Recreations, had been informed of the situation.
4/29 Tingelstad Medical Aid

Location: Tingelstad Residence Hall
Description:Â Campus Safety responded to a call from Residential Life for a medical assessment in Tingelstad Residence Hall for an unconscious male later identified as a non-PLU affiliated guest of a Tingelstad resident. The guest was found unconscious in a lounge and was initially unresponsive to attempts to wake him. Campus Safety officers were able to wake him, and as he became more alert he displayed signs of heavy intoxication. Campus Safety requested Central Pierce Fire & Rescue assistance with the medical assessment. The guest was not cooperative with Campus Safety officers and medics but was medically cleared by medics to remain on campus for the evening. This incident has been forwarded to PLU Student Rights & Responsibilities for review.
4/29 Tingelstad Alcohol Violation

Location: Tingelstad Residence Hall
Description:Â While on routine patrol in Tingelstad Residence Hall, Campus Safety officers discovered residents consuming alcohol in plain view in a residence hall room from their open door. Also present were another Tingelstad resident and a non-PLU-affiliated guest. Campus Safety officers contacted Residential Life and together they conducted a student-led room search yielding several violations of the PLU alcohol policy. Contents were disposed of in accordance with PLU policy. This incident has been forwarded to PLU Student Rights & Responsibilities for review.
