At the beginning of the 2017-2018 school year, Pacific Lutheran University welcomed hundreds of new students to campus to begin their Lute experience. Students from across the globe, both first-year and transfer students, joined to complete New Student Orientation. These new students have now made it through their first couple of weeks of school. The 783 new Lutes make up a slightly lower number than last year’s 863, but that doesn’t mean these new students haven’t already made their presence known. Many students are already getting involved, with some getting on-campus jobs and others getting into extracurricular activities.
