The premier of “Love’s Labour’s Lost” was this Thursday March 15. Guest Director Phillip Lacey said he adapted the play from Shakespeare to have the “richness and beauty of the original, but with a super fun, energetic rock feel.”
All the music in the show is original, except two notable numbers. “It was all written for this show back in 2016,” Lacey said. The contemporary music is what’s said to make this adaptation different from the rest.
“Love’s Labour’s Lost” runs March 15 through March 18 at 7:30 pm. Tickets are $5 for students.
