Names Fitness Center remains open along with the adjacent Memorial Gym.
Pacific Lutheran University’s (PLU) prized fitness facility resumed full hours of operation in mid-September 2020, but COVID-19 protocols required a 24-person limit in the facility. PLU established an online reservation system to accommodate the protocols.

It is now practically November, and nothing has changed.

Gym goers can still expect to reserve 75-minute sessions on IMLeagues.com. They can find the reservation slots on the PLU IMLeagues web page under “Fitness & Outdoor Rec.” Individuals need an IMLeagues account to reserve sessions on the web page. They can create their accounts on the page or when they attempt to reserve their first session.

24 individuals are allowed per session, and masks are a must.

Reservations open exactly 24 hours before each session begins. Gym goers are expected to show up on time to their sessions and leave at least five minutes early so as to allow safe passing periods.

An individual may lose their reservation if they show up to their session more than five minutes late. Others can fill that reservation as “drop-ins” after that.

Only one session is allowed per person per day unless an individual is lucky enough to get a “drop in” spot at another time outside of their reserved session.

This system will continue until further notice.
