Rise & Shine Cabaret Café is a unique, eclectic space that wraps you in its arms with positive energy.
“This place is a portal,” says owner Tonee Weaver, going on to explain how the café and performance venue “became an energy hub” that she cherishes very much.
So what’s the secret behind Rise & Shine’s success? Even through the pandemic they have been able to create their way out of it by utilizing their online presence and allowing opportunities for shopping within the cafe. There is always a new, innovative event to attend and the crystals, plants, and other celestial gadgets are attracting people in swarms to this gem in the heart of Parkland, WA.
Rise & Shine hosts a burlesque show every two months, a comedy show every month, and open mic nights every Wednesday. Perhaps the most intriguing of all of the events has to be the “Goddess Gatherings.” These are gatherings where women dress up as goddesses and enjoy a meal together, giving women the opportunity to really connect with each other for the goddesses that they are.
As for the future of Rise and Shine, Weaver wants to “offer what’s here outside of here” by hosting events and incorporating festivals into the cafe’s long list of successful endeavors.
