The icon herself, Miss Americana, has done it again. Taylor Swift has once again topped the charts with her rerelease album, Red (Taylor’s Version). This album includes all of the songs from the 2012 version, plus 12 that were originally cut.

So what’s different about this rerelease album? Taylor owns the entirety of Red (Taylor’s Version); which is not true of Red, the 2012 release. Her loyal fanbase of Swifties allows her to do this with grace and make monumental moves in the music industry yet again. This version features more mature vocals and other popular artists including Phoebe Bridgers, Ed Sheeran, and Chris Stapleton.

We can’t forget about the 10-minute-long elephant in the room. One of Taylor’s most popular songs, All Too Well, is not only rerecorded, but is the longest ever hit song since American Pie by Don McLean in 1972. This masterpiece comes with an entire short film featuring Sadie Sink and Dylan O’Brien. The actors share the same significant age gap as Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhaal, whom Swifties believe the song is about.

Swift intends to rerelease all of her albums, and next up will be Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) on December 17th. Swiftie or not, any music lover should be excited to see what comes next.
