Pickwickâs unique brand of âGarage R&Bâ has catapulted them into the limelight of Seattleâs indie-rock scene. Theyâve finished recording the follow-up album to their 2014 album âCanâtTalk Medicine.â The Vancouver Sun calls Pickwick a âgood, honest shot in the armâ for the bluesey rock nâ soul style popularized by The Black Keys.

Seattle hip-hop artist and producer Dave B. (above) comes to LollPLUza this year, fresh off his 2015 EP âPunch Drunk.â Punch Drunk
is rife with unique beats and layered lyrics. Hotnewhiphop.com gives his latest single, âOlive Oil,â a âHOTTTTTâ rating from editors, and a âVERY HOTTTTTâ user rating. His beats are playful, his voice is bold, and his wisdom is unparalleled.
ââOlive Oilâ is my audio ode, showing appreciation to all of the pretty girls with melanin, rocking their fly natural hair,â Dave B. told Hotnewhiphop.com.

From their soundcloud: âNAVVI is the experimental electro-pop project formed by Kristin Henry and Brad Boettger. The Seattle duo blends pop melodies with darker, looming beats and production.â Their music pulls from minimal atmospheric electro-pop ala 2010 Grimes. Itâs guitar-driven pop that has a lot of fun with itself.
âMy thought was to just keep it as minimal as possible and see how far we can take this thing without anybody else,â NAVVIâs guitarist Brad Boettger told The Sunbreak. â
Check out two new singles from their new album; In Gold and Polychrome.

Winner of the 2014 Experience Music Projectâs SoundOff! Competition, Otieno Terry will be at LollaPLUza following his tour with previous LollaPLUza headliner, Sol.
His performance at the 2014 SoundOff! Competition was deservedly praised by The Seattle Times; âTerry […] produced an eclectic and soulful set that brought the audience along on its emotional ride. Itâs a skill that, although young, Terry has already honed.â Here he is performing StarShip https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kaWqGYEKTTI
The Stranger calls Prom Queen (or Celene Ramadan and her band) âmore than simply songs, itâs a larger-than-life throwback of lavish camp and swoopy eyeliner.â Their music combines elements of surf rock with spaghetti-western and what they call â60s cinematic rock.”
Come check out LollaPLUza Saturday, May 7 from 1p.m. – 7p.m. at the PLU golf course. Lolla is up free and open to the public!
