As we’re all warming up to in-person classes, start warming up your diaphragms and get ready for a good laugh. The Late Knight crew is working hard on their first show of the semester, coming to you live in The Cave on November 20th at 8pm.
Covid-19 put a halt to many things, but Late Knight took it as a challenge. The crew pushed out seven solid shows last season, which you can find on the Mast’s Youtube channel under Late Knight. Co-director Matthew Tolar described production during the lengthy quarantine as a, “unique experience.”Â
“Not having a live audience took out the blood force of the show, making things difficult,” he said. “Things are going a lot smoother now, being in person again. There’s a lot of new people on the crew, including myself. I’m excited to work with this new crew, and to have a live audience to interact with.”Â
We’re all excited to see your beautiful masks and to hear the muffled laughs that come out from behind it!
Along with a fun show, there will be live music and interactive games. Finals will be just around the corner, but there’s always something to stress about. Late Knight is happy to take you away from some of that stress for a couple hours with good jokes and good looking people. If you or someone you know is a part of a band or would like to perform during the upcoming show or ones in the future, please reach out to lateknight@plu.edu. We’d love to work with you!
