Forget Netflix! This season’s lineup of sizzling TV show premieres will have even the biggest binge watchers tuning into cable this fall.

“Scream Queens” – 9 p.m. Tuesdays on FOX

Fox’s new horror-comedy “Scream Queens” premiered on Sept. 22. Created by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, the creators of the wildly popular “American Horror Story,” the show has been highly anticipated and generated much excitement. “Scream Queens” follows the Kappa Kappa Tau sorority and the multiple murders that happened within, giving a ode to American Horror Story’s first season, “Murder House.” Starring Emma Roberts, Lea Michele and an array of other actresses, the series showcases strong female leads with great comedic and dramatic timing. The show features horror, mystery, drama, reality and artistically ties every genre into one. Creator Ryan Murphy describes Jamie Lee Curtis, the original “scream queen” from her role in Halloween, as his inspiration. Murphy says he also created the show with star Emma Roberts in mind.

“Empire” – 9 p.m. Wednesdays on FOX

“Empire” returned for a second season on Sept. 23 after a highly-rated first installment (which ensured the second season after only two episodes). Since the series’ debut last fall, fans have been anxiously awaiting the premiere of “Empire’s” second chapter. “Empire” is based on a hip hop music entertainment company and follows the founding family’s battle for control of the company. Season 1 did so well in ratings and on social media reviews that fans and critics are waiting to see what season two has in store for the characters and the plotline they left with. Previews have included favorite characters Luscious, Cookie and Andre along with the question of who will inherit the throne of the company.

“Once Upon A Time” – 8 p.m. Sundays on ABC

ABC’s hit fantasy-drama “Once Upon a Time” returned for their fifth season on Sunday. Producer Adam Horowitz told Entertainment Tonight Online, “we’re writing this show as a show where there is a light at the end of the tunnel that everyone is trying to reach.” He also previewed some of the romance that is set to take place in Camelot this season. It’s definitely going to be a romantic season and viewers will be excited to see where the old relationships go and the new ones that blossom. Along with the romance, this season is set up to follow up with the drama where the last season left off.

“American Horror Story: Hotel” – Premieres Oct. 7 on FX

Season 5 of the wildy successful “American Horror Story” is set to premiere Oct. 7 on FX. This season is set in the haunted Los Angeles Hotel Cortez and features fan favorites Evan Peters, Kathy Bates and Sarah Paulson, as well as newly added cast member Lady Gaga who is suspected to be a show-stealer. Creator Ryan Murphy describes this season to be very similar to the first season, “Murder House,” especially with Gaga’s captivating character traumatizing the hotel. This season will be frightening, disturbing and extreme. Fans are going crazy in anticipation of the premiere.
