This week Pacific Lutheran University is putting on a performance of the musical Pippin, a tale of a young prince on a search for true happiness and fulfillment.

“This production is one of the biggest dance shows the school has done in several years,” said Neena Malcom, a member of the ensemble.

Shows are Thursday-Saturday at 7:30 pm and Sunday at 2 pm at the Eastvold Auditorium in the Karen Hille Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. Tickets can be purchased exclusively at the door, and no cash is accepted. Students get in free with ID.

As PLU’s mask policy has changed, visitors will no longer need to bring proof of vaccination to attend or be required to wear a mask in the auditorium.

“Everyone should come see Pippin,” said Alison Rucker, leading player. “It symbolizes how precious our time on earth truly is in the most elaborate, bizarre, and beautiful way.”
